After showcasing the work of Alex Müller over the past few months, we will be celebrating the opening of “Jazz Essentials – A Photo Exhibition by Felix Dossmann” on April 22. Interludes & Events
On our Tiny Stage, musicians of our community provide live music every night, usually three sets between 20 and 23 o’clock. Admission is donation-based – we recommend a culture contribution of €5 minimum per set. Those who can are welcome to give more, those who can’t are just as warmly invited. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, we generally reserve seats until 7:30 p.m. at the latest.

Singer Catherine Jabbour and guitarist Laico Ruiz Dominguez present a program of Argentine tango and French chanson.
Catherine Jabbour lived in Argentina for eleven years and has developed a close connection to the country’s musical culture. In this project, the two musicians focus on a stripped-down, intimate repertoire that bridges Argentine tango and French chanson.

Stav Goldberg is a pianist and composer who is drawn to the space where a clear melody meets a complex groove, and the paradox between them.
Classically trained from age seven and shaped in New York by mentors like Aaron Parks and Shai Maestro, the Berlin-based pianist has played stages from the Kennedy Center to the Panama Jazz Festival. On Nov 1, he brings his solo act to the Silent Jazzbar for a set of soulful exploration for deep listeners.

Guitar Night is a concert series hosted by Berlin-based jazz guitarist Gur Liraz, featuring a different guitarist at every edition.
For this edition, Gur welcomes Mexican-born, Berlin-based guitarist and composer Hugo Fernández, whose distinctive musical language brings together the rich tradition of jazz with influences from folk music, classical music, and beyond. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a master’s degree in jazz studies from the University of New Orleans, Hugo is known for his imaginative original compositions and exploratory approach to improvisation.

Miriam Netti is a talented Italian-born jazz singer, composer, and lyricist, whose musical journey has taken her across Europe. Born and raised in Puglia, Italy, Miriam has carved out a niche for herself within the jazz world, blending her Mediterranean roots with a modern, soulful jazz style that resonates deeply with audiences. Currently based in Berlin, she has embraced the city’s rich and diverse music scene, using it as a base to expand her artistic vision.
Over the years, Miriam Netti has released six albums, showcasing her range not only as a vocalist but also as a composer and lyricist. Dirk Flatau – Aufwind
In his new solo programme Aufwind, Berlin-based pianist and composer Dirk Flatau invites audiences into a world of intuitive ideas, impulses and utopian visions.
Influenced by minimal music, impressionist classical music, pop culture and folklore, his music evokes underwater journeys, flights through distant galaxies, or simply a personal cinema of the mind.
With a focus on clear, energetic melodies and rhythms, Aufwind marks a new chapter for Flatau. After many years as a bandleader, arranger and accompanist, he now steps into the spotlight as a soloist, exploring new ways of composing, listening and playing through an uncompromising connection with his instrument.

Tuesday Tunes with SJB Houseband featuring Karin Peters (voc), together with Alex Wienand (piano) & Urs Johnen (bass).
Karin Peters studied school music with a major in jazz vocals at the Detmold University of Music (HfM Detmold) from 2013 to 2017. During this time, she gained valuable experience in music education and became a member of the award-winning vocal ensemble Pop-Up and the vocal ensemble of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Germany (Bundesjazzorchester), performing in concerts and competitions both domestically and internationally. Her travels with these ensembles took her to Denmark, Turkey, and Ecuador, among other places. Over these years, she participated in various CD productions and studio recordings. She is a member of the fusion band Sebastian Müller Band and spent years as a mezzo-soprano in the a cappella ensemble Valerie. To further deepen her musical training, she studied jazz/pop vocals with Anette von Eichel at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT Köln) from 2017 to 2020, while working freelance as a singer, vocal coach, and choir director alongside her studies.
Since November 2020, she has been teaching jazz, pop, and soul vocals at LKMS, focusing on body awareness, phrasing, and articulation, as well as imparting a healthy and natural vocal technique.

Roland Satterwhite presents a solo performance for violin, voice, and a self-developed live harmonizer. Combining modern jazz with original songs rooted in storytelling and political reflection, the project explores the expressive possibilities of the violin as a complete musical language, with the harmonizer extending its harmonic possibilities in real time.

Pablo Lapidusas is an Argentinian-Brazilian pianist and composer based in Portugal. With eight albums released, he blends diverse influences in vertiginous solo performances, alongside appearances with his trio and international orchestras presenting chamber versions of his compositions.
He has collaborated with various artists, such as: Hermeto Pascoal, Edu Lobo, Marcelo D2, Jaques Morelenbaum, I Musici di Montreal, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Hamilton de Holanda, Marcus Wyatt, Carlos Malta, Eugene Friesen, Quarteto em Cy, Nelson Faria, Maria João, Rem Urasin, Amir Milstein and Ehud Ettun, in recordings and performances across more than 40 countries. Winner of the 2021 “Prêmio Profissionais da Música” for the soundtrack of Herdeiros de Saramago, Lapidusas transcends genres while teaching classes and workshops at institutions in Israel, the USA, Portugal, Brazil and India.
He is currently recording his ninth album, along with projects featuring texts by Ai Weiwei and the show “O Pianinho”, a solo version performed on Toy Piano focused on children’s audiences. For his solo debut in Berlin, at the “Silent Jazz Club”, the musician will present works from his two recent albums, along with some surprises prepared for this intimate performance.
